I would use the Individual's General Notes and/or use Location Notes. It rather depends on how you plan to pass on your information. If you are going to give your relatives copies of your family file they will have access to Location Notes, but if you are just going to send Reports it would be better to use General Notes. You could say something like "So-and-so's name was pronounced .... The town where he was living in 1900, Somewhere, is pronounced ...." Just how you specify the pronunciation - examples with common words or phonetic spelling is your choice.
