Thanks, Jenny. I must not have been very clear what I was looking for, but you discerned what I meant.
I am looking for a place to put stuff like this - information relevant to the whole database. So far the only solution I've found has been to mess with the To-Do List. For instance, there are several posters on Gen-Med who use only initials; I have their real names. Now I am trying to make pronunciation lists. I was looking for a place to put this general but important information. Does Legacy have such a place, or should I make a suggestion? If you are going to give your relatives copies of your family file they will have access to Location Notes, but if you are just going to send Reports it would be better to use General Notes. You could say something like "So-and-so's name was pronounced .... The town where he was living in 1900, Somewhere, is pronounced ...." Just how you specify the pronunciation - examples with common words or phonetic spelling is your choice.
