Thanks to those who responded to my request.

I'm very disappointed not being able to shut it off, but otherwise, I like the 
program.  I hope they reconsider the option when doing the next updates and 
upgrades on Legacy.

And don't forget - you can right click on the "in" and "place" in
front of the fields to call up the last 10 entries for date and
location.

Sometimes the entries in the Location field are way long and it takes
forever to get to the one you want!
