1) import the GEDCOM into a new Legacy database 2) decide what you are going to pull into your "main" file from this new Legacy file (clean up the new data as necessary) 3) Use Split View to drag and drop the pieces you wish and as many generations up or down that you want 4) Merge any duplicates you may have imported Ron Taylor
