IMHO it would be easier to set up a Focus Group to send to a different DB

Subject: [LegacyUG] How to delete tons of people

I have received a gedcom file from a fellow researcher.
It contains about 6000 records.  I would like to have
about 200 records from it.  Is there a way I could
easily do a mass delete of certain selected records.
Or could I export a gedcom from it of only a few
selected records.

I can't select a descendant report to export, that would
be too many records.  I would like a few more records
than would be found on a pedigree report.  I haven't
figured out how to select certain records for a gedcom
export anyway.
