I have about 13.5 gig of scans and photos, most of them are tiff. I do not seem 
to have a problem with retrieval or operation. Could it be a computer not 
program problem?

It's highly recommended that you not use TIF files in Legacy; they are too 
large. Copy your TIF files to JPGs or GIFs for use in Legacy.
