It's not a requirement to keep your photos in the Legacy Picture folder. If you do, though, you have to remember to back up from that location. It's not what we usually think of as 'default' like My Documents.
It doesn't actually matter where you keep them. I keep all of mine, and different sizes and formats, in hundreds of MRIN sub-folders in My Dropbox which is synced to my other computer. The only thing that actually matters as far as Legacy goes is that Legacy knows where they are. When you go to link one, just browse to where you keep it and link it up. (Tiff's are fine; they don't have to be jpg's but they have to be of 'reasonable size'. 20MB is not reasonable in this case.) If you already have a lot of files linked to Legacy and want to move the folder(s) to somewhere else you have to tell Legacy that by changing your multimedia locations under Options/Customize/Locations/View Current List of Multimedia Locations. I believe the way that works is if you link up one file from the new location it will recognize the rest. I'm always glad more than one person often answers a question. :) JL Beeken JLog | http://www.jgen.ws/jlog/ On 6/15/2012 5:51 PM, William (Bill) R. Linhart wrote: > "...
