I too, have the problem Mary is seeing and am using Firefox. I switched to IE as the default browser and still had the problem. Yet when I click on Google Maps it opens it up, no problem. MapQuest dose nothing in either browser. This program needs some work! Bobby

I was using Firefox as primary. I had to temporarily make Internet Explorer primary to download the upgrade, then switch back to Firefox. Kathy I have just installed "Map My Family Tree" and the program asks if I want to update it. Of course I agree, but then get this message. "You need to be connected to the Internet to complete the update process. Please connect to the Internet and click OK." I'm on the Internet - I click OK - but the message keeps repeating, so I'm unable to update. Grateful for any advice on overcoming this.
