Syble, You may actually have more than one "fdb" file with its corresponding pieces. The best way would be to open each one of your Legacy databases and then back it up which will combine all the pieces into a Zip file. Then determine which folder you will use to store the operating databases and restore the family files to that folder. The recommended folder is C:\Legacy\Data.
Once you have all your files where you can locate them, the next step is to merge them together. If the various databases originated from the same one initially, then an Intelishare merge will fix most of the duplicates automatically. Otherwise you'll have to use the regular merge processes to clean up the combined database. Lastly, when you're sure that you have all of your data, get a backup of it and then delete the old databases. If you use the Delete Family file inside of Legacy, it will remove all pieces of whatever database is opened. That means that you first have to open the database to be deleted wherever it may be stored and then delete it.
