Ted, Do you know anything further about the marriage eg. a rough idea of even the county?
If so, I am wondering if using Search>Find>Detailed Search you could, in the first row have: Individual; Given Name; Contains; George AND Second Row: Marriage; Marr Event Place; Contains; Eccles There are more options depending on what you know. If you only have the full name of the male and the given name of the Female, please confirm and I'll have a further think (no promises) - do you have Access or OpenOffice?
