Believe me, it's a *lot* easier to type on a regular keyboard, even the smaller one on a netbook, than to try to do a lot of data entry using the onscreen keyboard on the mobile device or even on the little pull-out keyboards on some phones. Been there done that.
With the netbook and PC setup, you can keep the Family File in Dropbox or other cloud site so you don't have to mess with synchronizing like you would when synching between Families and Legacy.
