As for correct grammar and punctuation, especially using commas where they are supposed to be, Legacy is quite deficient. When you use PDF format, there is no way to correct their incorrect usage. Since HTML does not yet include all the info (programmers are working on it), creating an HTML and copying that into Word is not a work-aound. Text format is useless. All dates and all locations need to be followed by a comma when the sentence continues, i.e. "1477," and "VA,". I wish there was some way we could correct this lack; I know the programmers have nore important things to do than learn correct grammar and punctuation. Maybe if they could fix the HTML reports (all), then we could use the work-around. When I enter nicknames, I put quotation marks around them. When I print a report it looks like this: Sarah "Sallie" SHARPE,44 daughter of Ensign JohnSHARP, Jr. and Elizabeth LAUGHLIN, was born on 12 Apr 1780,46 died on 25 Feb 1816 in , WASHINGTON, VA45 atage 35, and was buried in Green Spring Cemetery, GreenSpring, WASHINGTON[CO.], VA.45 The cause of her death wascomplications from childbirth (her son Thomas was born 8 days before her death).47 She was usually called Sallie. For some reason Legacy has removed the quotation marks around the second Sallie. Can I get them bck?(I don't think this is relevant but under "Report Options" I have a check mark in front of "Use quoted name for narrative.") Also, I don't want those ages to show,and I do want there to be commas after Jr., and VA. Any ideas?
