See the FHISO blog at http://fhiso.org/blog/ for developments on improving GEDCOM. Some software producers are on board, but I don't see Legacy mentioned. Ron, you are undoubtedly right about the reason for reluctance to join this effort, but perhaps users can play a role in encouraging Legacy participation. Marnie Oakes
