I found it on a new thumb drive I got last night. the strange thing is, the new death date I entered did not save last night.
So on my new laptop, I have been testing Legacy. I saved it in the Data folder and did the other tips on saving you all gave me. Since now I know where the file is. One time it opened with my tree, a few times it did not and I also got a few errors messages. At least now I will have the one thumb drive to back up my family file to, so I will be able to locate it. As for the errors, I will have to email legacy and ask what they are. Thank you for all your help.
