Hello Rita and all the list members who have come up with some constructive ideas. This problem played on my mind as I was going to sleep but then on waking I have come to much the same idea as Rita, but I have made a slight variance. I have put the partner's name as female but immediately following the surname I have used a symbol, in my case I show chose " §", so for example I would have, "John Doe §" this then can follow through with his family and is immediately explainable. Of course changing the wording of the relationship goes without saying.
From my point of view I would consider that this question is now closed and once again thank you all. Robert, Hinckley UK.
