I don't think that will help in this situation since she change a state location , , Nebraska, USA that was linked to 600 people to a city location and that changed all 600 entries to the city which they probably do not link to. What probably happened is that you were on the individual entry page and you wanted to change that location so you probably clicked on the little down arrow next to the location field and that actually opened the Master Location List and you edited that location there which changed the location for everyone connected to that location after you acknowledged the warning message that would have popped up. The correct way would have been to just type in the new location in the field which would have added the new location to the list..
