Nothing to do with that for me - I like my photos to appear in "date" order and as I come across a "new" photo (one I have not scanned in before) I like it to appear in the approximate date range - if there are a lot of photos in the file this can take a while to do - and it took even longer when I was trying to rearrange some that I had not done at the time of scanning!
