I one of my databases I have many source citations from my local
newspaper - the *"Sunraysia Daily"* and this is *Source List Name* that
I have used. In the *Source Detail* I have entered the date and
page/column numbers, for example, *21 Jun 1978 p7c1*, with intention of
visiting the local library and copying the *actual Source Text* in the
newspaper from the microfilm record, under the *Text/Comments* tab.
I can create a list of individuals which use the Source List Name
*"Sunraysia Daily"*(all 2273 of them!) as a source, but can then only
view the dates in the *Source Detail* by clicking on each individual in
the list. I was hoping that it might be possible to create a list of
these dates using the Search function?? I now fear that this is not the
case. I notice that the results can be printed to a CSV file, but there
is no*Field Option* in the *List Report Options* which includes the
*Source Detail*. I guess that I will need to create a /date and
page/column number/ list outside of my Legacy database. Any suggestions
on wherelse, and in what format, the date and page/column numbers could
be entered in Legacy which would allow a list to be created, will be
much appreciated.
Note: The main reason for wanting to create a date sortable list is
to make sure that I get all the entries from a particular microfilm
roll, at the one time. Using a microfilm reader is quite time consuming!
