The Source Citation Report has at least produced a listing of what
I am after, but unfortunately, no csv option with this report. I tried
another tack, producing a csv of the search listing which includes
dates,which then allowed me to sort by date. Struck a few problems as I
have year only in a lot of the event dates, and the formatting of the
cell dates in Excel is producing some odd results.
I have saved the Source Citation Report as a pdf and this has
allowed me to do a search by a year at a time, a little slow but the
best option so far. I will have the laptop at the library, with both
Legacy and the pdf running, so should be able to make good progress this
way. The Sunraysia Daily index covers the years from 1920 to 1999, and
the latter years have many microfilm rolls per year, so will probably
search by month and year when I get to those.
I have been using Legacy since version 2 and apart from the
software being unable to handle same sex marriages, it has served me
well. I just wish that I could sync my Legacy database with an Ancestry
site???
