Bernie,

You can enclose the names he used in quotes in the first name field i.e John
Edward Frederick *Fredrickā€ Smith. When creating reports etc. one can then opt
to use only the name in quotes for the narratives and also remove the quoted
name from printing.

Subject: [LegacyUG] Commonly used Christian name

Is there a way to highlight a commonly used Christian name?

For example: birth name is John Edward Frederick Smith.

He is referred to as Frederick Smith in marriage record, census and/or death
notice. Perhaps to distinguish him from his father John Edward Frederick
Smith, called John.

Something that would be apparent: John Edward Frederick Smith. John Edward
Frederick Smith. John Edward Frederick Smith. etc.

Thanks

Bernie
