Here is a problem that I have and would like comments as to how to handle
adopted children.  Here is my scenario;
1. Family 1 - Father - A (Coles) and Mother B (Phillips) have 4 children:
C, D, E, F - all with last name of Coles
2. Family 1 has a divorce.
3. Mother B marries again with husband G - Last name Lane.
4. Family 2 - Father G and Mother B
The father (Lane) formally adopts the children C, D, E, & F and they all
take on his last name of Lane.

Now it is true the true blood relationship of the children C, D, E & F are
of the Coles family line. I have them shown as children of family 1
(Coles).

I also want to show them as children of family 2 (Lane family) with a new
last name of Lane.

Here is what I have done:
1. I have given the children the following last names:
C. Coles-Lane, D. Coles-Lane, E. Coles-Lane, F. Coles-Lane.
2. I have attached all 4 children to both Family 1 and Family 2 with the
dual last names.

Legacy lets me do this, but doesn't really like it.

Any suggestions?? My goal is to show the children as being in both
families since they are adopted. Maybe I am too optimistic to be able to
do this?
