Jacob,  I'm not at my home computer, so I may have the exact names wrong, but
when you are dealing with a source detail citation, there are a few tabs across
the top, the last one being "multimedia" (I think).  When you go to that tab,
you can add an image, then the pop-up screen is similar to the individual's
"picture gallery".  Are you sure you added the image to the source detail
citation?  It sounds like you just went into the individual's picture gallery
and added the image.  If the image is linked to the citation, then producing a
report with citations at the end and having it set to print any images
associated with citations will show you it is correctly linked there.  Then you
can just remove the image (link) from the individual's pictures (picture icon
on the individual).  Hope this helps!

Paula,

You are correct that I added the birth certificate in the picture gallery, but
that is because when I click on the picture icon in Sorce Detail, the Picture
Gallery window opens.  To enter the certificate image as a photo in Source
Detail, do I not need to click on Picture Gallery?

Click on the icon for photos for this individual.  The birth certificate should
show and there should be a "remove" button on the right side of that pop-up
window.  I'm pretty sure you must've also added the birth certificate file as a
picture for the individual.  There's no link between pictures on source detail
citations and pictures on individuals.  Deleting from individual will not
delete from citation; you're just deleting the link.
