Make a copy of your database and work with the COPY, because you're going to be lying like a rug.
To get the first of the tags I mentioned -- First, assume that every dead is NOT attending. For the DESCENDANTS, open each person you think may attend, go into address-line1 copy the descendant-# (which I store in the Custom ID field), and on address-line2 put the name of the child from whom this person descends. DELETE EVERYTHING ELSE IN THAT FIELD. Now, print labels, living only, with addresses. Cavaet: I haven't tried this, but the options under print name tags suggests it'll work as a kludge. *DELETE* this file *NOW! or sooner.* It's probably easier to set up a sheet of name tags in Word or WP or OO and copy the relevant data one at a time, though. Particularly if you have a list of who is attending from advance registrations (one of the perks of pre-reg, after all). Other's probably have even better suggestions.
