I don't think transferring just the .fdb file is enough. There are other 
(albeit small) related files with the same file name but extensions like ppl, 
rc, rgd etc that I think change with changes in the .fdb file. So, for a 
'manual copy' I suspect the safe and complete route is to create a backup zip 
file on computer 1 and restore it to computer 2.

I have my Legacy paths the same on each computer, so media and restores aren't 
a problem.
I prefer to do a manual transfer of data between the two, not really concerned 
with keeping them synched.
I'm basically interested in just a transfer of changes data, not settings or 
customizations, etc.
  For speed and simple transfer of data, is it acceptable to just copy/past the 
.fdb file between my two computers?
