Of course it does. The linkage with FamilySearch is a two-way process - or can be depending on how you use it. You can effectively upload your database to FamilySearch and you can take information from FamilySearch to be included in your database. When you do this, you have little control over some of the details that find their way into your database. It's like a GEDCOM import, one record at a time. This last is how your strange numbers appeared in your database. -- Regards, Mike Fry Johannesburg (g) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
