JB,

I've seen this problem before -install.log missing so windows can't remove
program but don't remember if it was on this list. I seem to recall people
saying just re-install right over existing program, that should create
install.log and after that Windows uninstaller should work. Others may wish to
comment on whether this is a good idea or bad idea.

I have also had success with the free version of REVO uninstaller (never used
it for Legacy though).

Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] "Legacy setup not completed properly" ADDITIONAL info

The Error message box appears AFTER Legacy8 opens AND you have selected the
file you want to use.

It is a Error box that is superior to the Family view screen.

It appears every time I open Legacy8.

If I click NO, then the Error box disappears and the program seems to function
ok.

If I click YES, then it defaults to download and install the latest version...

If I click CANCEL, the program closes...

Appears that the only way to eliminate this 'ERROR box' would be uninstall
Legacy8.

When I attempt that REMOVE program, the windows error box says is cannot locate
the INSTALL.LOG

_

I want to completely uninstall Legacy* and restart from the download and
install a new Legacy8.

This is the problem and help is requested....
