You can buy the download with or without the PDF manual, or the CD with or without the print manual and either print or PDF by itself.
Of course the Help file always comes with the program and is more comprehensive and up-to-date than the printed manual. It's been years since I've purchased a program that came with a manual - usually it only comes with a help file.
