Use detailed search to find and set tag1 for all possible husbands.
Use detailed search to find and set tag2 for all possible wives.

Use this SQL query to display marriages that have Husband on tag1 and Wife on
tag2.

SELECT tblMR.IDMR, tblIR.IDIR, tblIR.GivenName, tblIR.Surname, tblIR.BirthSD,
tblIR_1.IDIR, tblIR_1.GivenName, tblIR_1.Surname, tblIR_1.BirthSD, tblIR.Tag1,
tblIR_1.Tag2
FROM (tblMR INNER JOIN tblIR ON tblMR.IDIRHusb = tblIR.IDIR) INNER JOIN tblIR
AS tblIR_1 ON tblMR.IDIRWife = tblIR_1.IDIR
WHERE (((tblIR.IDIR)>0) AND ((tblIR_1.IDIR)>0) AND ((tblIR.Tag1)=1) AND
((tblIR_1.Tag2)=1));

It would be great if Millennia would provide "Where to look" fields for
"Spouse's Tag1", "Spouse's Tag2", etc. in the Detailed Search.  Then the SQL
would not have to be executed outside of the program.  Many combinations of
husband/wife can be searched by adjusting the Detailed Search criteria or the
Query by Example Search.

Another way to find spouses by names is the Marriage List where you can sort by
Husband name or Wife name and then look for the couple you want but that won't
take into account the birth dates, places, etc. that can be done with the
detailed search and tagging.

And yet a third way to find all kinds of data in a Legacy file is GenViewer's
Highlighting function.

A Query by Example would allow finding individuals satisfying the first
4 criteria. Then a detailed search within the results for spouse with
given name Mary would take care of criterium 5 but I cannot see how to
pick out the spouse birth place.
