Unfortunately there are no options to limit a Search & Replace operation to a given tag set or the Search List or Focus Group (sounds like a good enhancement suggestion), but I think you could limit the effort of doing it manually by making the edits in the Edit Tab of the Search List window. Type the new name in on the first record, then just click on each subsequent record in the search list, click the Surname Label, and then click Yes in the confirmation window.
