I've used Millenia's genealogy program long before Millenia was part of the scene. I've followed every iteration up to and including the current v.8. I have to report this v.8 is the flakiest effort that has been produced thus far, and I am personnally getting tired of having to deal with errors, particularly 3421. It continues to pop up under differing circumstances, and inevitably, I must resort to exporting my records into a new Legacy family file to get back to work. This is a pain, and a major distraction, as I try to analyse my data while entering it into Legacy v.8.
I know that the extra complexity of this new version is probably contributing to the problem, and right now, I do not plan to change to another program as there is nothing out there to compete with Legacy, its customer support, and the Users' groups. I feel a need to vent, and pray that things get back on an even keel soon before some other program surfaces to take me away from v.8. In the meantime, I keep looking for it.
