Gene In defence of Legacy 8, I must say that, after a few glitches in the first few days of using it, I have had no problems at all. I have had no 3421 or other error messages. The only time I've had to export to a new family file was, I think, 'way back in v.5! Perhaps a message direct to Support might be your best way forward. Mary Young .
