You can use LTools to set various numbers into the UserID field including 
d'Aboville numbers.  Then the UserID field can be displayed in reports as 
needed.  One advantage of the "Set Special User IDs" is the option "Exclude 
Non-Biological Relationships" which will bypass links that are not on the blood 
line like spouses or adopted children.
