The Help is incorrect. It is the Descendant Chart not the Descendant Narrative report that can use d'Aboville numbers.
I have submitted a problem report to have the Help amended. There is an enhancement request to add the d/Aboville numbering system to the Descendant Narrative and Descendant Book reports but that is still outstanding.
