I have deleted the previous e-mails concerning this, so I cannot simply reply, but here is what Brian said on the subject:
The Help is incorrect. It is the Descendant Chart not the Descendant Narrative report that can use d'Aboville numbers. I have submitted a problem report to have the Help amended. There is an enhancement request to add the d/Aboville numbering system to the Descendant Narrative and Descendant Book reports but that is still outstanding. The way it seems to be now, the numbers are just before each name and do not stand out very well from the name and information about each person. I don't know if it is just Support people who make requests for enhancements or how that works.
