Deb: If you open a file A in Legacy 7 or 8, any changes you make will not appear in a 2nd file B. If you want the changes to appear in both files A 7 B you can do one of two things: 1. Make changes to both files independently 2. Combine files A & B into a single file C and make all changes to file C. Note: File A & B will no longer be updated.
If you want a drop down list of recent edited Legacy files when using Legacy 8, Left Click on round Legacy Logo at top left of Legacy 8 window -- this displays a list of recently edited Legacy files similar to what Legacy 7 did you clicked on the File menu. In either Legacy 7 or 8, if you are editing separate files - changes you make in one file will not be applied to a second file.
