Hi Ken, You need to install the program onto your computer, you can't just copy it over from another machine. It also sounds like the download file you've got there Legacy7Setup.exe) is corrupted in some way.
The best thing I think you can do is download a fresh copy of v7.5 from the Legacy web site (http://legacyfamilytree.com/helpDownloadVersion7.asp) and install from that. Once that's done, if you still need to, put your Deluxe number in to unlock those features - though you may find that with all the files you've copied over this won't be necessary.
