I have loaded Legacy8 Deluxe from disk to a laptop for use in an upcoming genealogy trip. The problem is it will not download the the updates from the original build. It will not let me transfer my file from my desktop saying the file is for a later build. To top it off I can not completely uninstall the program as I get the message “could not find INSTALL.LOG file”. What do I do to get this fixed? I am using Windows 7 on both my desktop and laptop.
