Once I was able to get what I had installed from the CD that came whit the
manual off the laptop I was able to download from the website. As of now I
have version 427 installed.

What version of Legacy is your laptop running?
If it isn't Legacy 8 version 427 and you can't update from the Home Tab,
then you haven't entered your customer number to make it the deluxe
version - see the Help ribbon.
