I don't understand why you need to use the Override at all. With the Basic Source Details you are presented with just one field in which you can enter whatever text you wish and write it just as you want it to appear in a Citation. So why do you have to put anything into the Override field? Having said that, I do think you are making a rod for your own back by lumping to such an extent. It would really be much easier for you to have a separate Master Source for each online database that you access. It would also avoid the problems you are having. Of course, it is entirely your choice what system you choose to use, but I'd be interested to know what are your reasons for working the way you do. -- Jenny M Benson Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
