Agreed, too many folders gets cumbersome Why not one folder under Locations named /USAIllinoisCookChicago/ ??
I only have a few folders and everything gets put into the respective folder with the filename of surname_name with over 60,000 items there are only a few folders census (under census is one folder for each main census year 1850census, 1860census, 1870census, etc) documents Headstones (under headstones are folders by cemetery HighlandMemorialCemeteryAppletonWisconsin, StMarysCemeteryAppletonWisonsin, etc ) Histories Maps Military Newspapers Obituaries Photos (under photos are 4 folders - portraits, couples, families and other) prayercards Recordings Video But the best way is whichever way works best FOR YOU!
