That's right! My grandmother was born in November 1903 (Dec Q 1903) but the birth wasn't registered until Mar Q 1904. I presume her parents had to pay a fine for late registration. This is a slightly artificial case since I do know her date of birth. If I hadn't, then I'd have entered her dob as Abt.1904. -- Regards, Mike Fry (Jhb) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
