That of course makes perfect sense but I didn't pick up on that right away 
since all my research is central European and American.  I don't have any GRO 
sources in my personal file :) :) :)

The idea is sound but I do note that the GRO reference is for the date of 
registration of the birth not the dob which can be up to 8 weeks before the 
start of the quarter.
