Which is the point, I'd think.  If you already KNOW the
birthdate, you got it from somewhere, so record where you
got it from (pardon the prep-ending).

If you DON'T already Know, record what you found.

Because if we start making concessions, our db is going to
be showing things like (born after 1795 and before 1846)
which is right up there for accuracy with "18th century".
