I entered a lot of data yesterday and found an error this morning linking a child to the grandparents instead of the mother. Panic took over and I think I deleted the mother. All my work and a whole family is gone.
After a long think, decided that I would open a new family file and upload yesterday's backup to it. The backup is compressed in WinRar and I have fiddled around with it, but failed to load it. I have created a new family file (empty) with a new name, but cannot get yesterday's backup into it. Have tried, but WinRar keeps popping up. Would someone please help me - I am desperate.
