Started up L8 on Vista again today. Still showing I had the latest build. Had to go to legacy home page and do the download which asked me for my email address and securtiy code before download would start. It also said Users of L8 don't need to use this for the update as it can be automatic. WELL, that was NOT TRUE in my case. Can't remember having this problem in the past. I have L8 as backup on a W8 laptop and will check sometime if the same problem occurs. I did try a Repair file before going to the home page but I think that was just for the file I had opened and going through the Repair process didn't change anything. As several people have noted this it looks like a bug somewhere. At least I have the latest build. Due to issues when L8 first came out I still use L7.5 for my main family file and just use L8 for looking at new smaller families.
