Is what you're apparently looking for is web-based version of Legacy? Or, perhaps, a cloud-version of Legacy? Either way, Legacy is a database application with some extras. It is specifically a desktop application. Okay, there are some mobile-based apps that can process a Legacy family file, but these have very limited functionality and should be limited to a data-gathering exercise for later integration back into the desktop data. As for _immediate_ updates to the database. That all depends on where the database resides. As I used to tell my managers when I was designing and developing software, Anything is possible, even the seemingly impossible. Miracles take that little bit longer and cost a lot more. -- Regards, Mike Fry (Jhb) Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com).
