Is what you're apparently looking for is web-based version of Legacy? Or,
perhaps, a cloud-version of Legacy? Either way, Legacy is a database application
with some extras. It is specifically a desktop application. Okay, there are some
mobile-based apps that can process a Legacy family file, but these have very
limited functionality and should be limited to a data-gathering exercise for
later integration back into the desktop data.

As for _immediate_ updates to the database. That all depends on where the
database resides. As I used to tell my managers when I was designing and
developing software, Anything is possible, even the seemingly impossible.
Miracles take that little bit longer and cost a lot more.
