You aren't alone there!  I've never figured out how to upload a page
I've created to a web site.  I used to get someone else to do that for
me which wasn't ideal.

What I use now is Wordpress (https://wordpress.com/).  It's fairly
easy to use and you can either write the page "live" or create it off
line then upload. And it's at the best price - free :)

You can make it private if you wish.
