To upload the files for your web page to the internet you need web page space where you can place those files from a web hosting company.
To physically copy the files from your computer to the web site host's computers you need to use a program which handles file transfers via the "File Transfer Protocol" (FTP). There are many FTP programs available both free and paid. My personal favourite is WIN FCP available here: http://winscp.net/ A google search for FTP Programs will give you many other options.
