An example from "the real life" where I have used shared events:
People involved: My grandfather Wictor, his brother Alfred, a man named Albert, his brother Karl and another man, Martin, all from the same municipality in Finland. 1900: Alfred emigrated and settled in New York. 1911 immigrated Karl and his brother Albert, they stated Alfred as a friend in NY. The brothers returned after a short time in Finland but in 1916 they were back in Ellis Island, and this time continued Karl to Canada where he settled but Albert returned back to Finland. In 1925 it was time again; Albert, grandfather Wictor and another man, Martin immigrated to Karl in Canada. Wictor, Albert and Martin worked with Karl some years but returned then to Finland and what I heard was they were then quite wealthy. Karl stayed in Canada, my grandfather Wictor met for his first time my mother (she was born after he left Finland), Martin bought a farm close to Wictor and Albert married Wictor´s sister. And Alfred who started it lived in NY where he died during the building of Empire States Building. 2015-05-22 16:30 GMT+02:00 Nancy <[email protected]>: > Good idea.
