Jim You summarise what the problem is so far as the end user is concerned. We have no information as to when bugs will be fixed. 2 years is far too long! We don't understand the process for prioritisation of bugs. From looking at version fix lists some of the things fixed are very obscure and at the same time obvious problems as this are ignored or appear to be. I believe I have reported 5 bugs and I believe only one is fixed and that was one that was previously known about. Why all the secrecy about bug fixes and anticipated fixes.

My half-sister, who lives in the UK, has a civil union to her same-sex partner and I so entered that way in my family file using Access change the gender. I don't ever run into problems because it and just ignore the message after doing a check/repair of my family file. I am concerned that the fix will leave my database vulnerable as you say to other issues and add ins not working. I wonder if anyone has a template of how they handled it post production with a word processor in their tree? > > Can you give any indication Jim when the problem will be resolved in the software though? Hopefully before the following tree publication in 5 month time. From another post it seems to have been in the pipeline for a very long time > Best regards Stan Baker > > -----Original Message----- > From: Jim Terry/Support [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: Thursday, August 27, 2015 2:59 AM > To: [email protected] > Subject: re: [LegacyUG] Same sex Marriages > > Sorry about the link.
